Pewaukee Lake Improvement Association
The PLIA is organized as a non-profit, non-stock corporation under Chapter 181 of the Wisconsin Statutes, and has as its mission to preserve and protect Pewaukee Lake and its surroundings, to enhance the water quality, fishery, boating safety, and aesthetic values of Pewaukee Lake as a public recreational resource for today and for future generations.
The 2013 annual meeting for the Pewaukee Lake Improvement Association (PLIA) is scheduled for 7 PM Wednesday, October 30th. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the Community Meeting Room (CMR) at the Pewaukee Public Library, 210 Main St. Pewaukee, WI 53072-3506, Phone: 262-691-5670. The new PLIA informational billboard is on display August 17, 2013 at the Antique & Classic Boat Show along the beach in the Village of Pewaukee. You'll find information about ways the water quality of Pewaukee Lake can be improved and about the PLIA itself on the board. Stop by and take a look and enjoy all the beautiful wooden boats at the show, which runs from 9;00 AM to 5:00 PM.
